AshcaTek was unintentionally created by Joe Camacho and Camilla Asklof when they both had the ‘great idea' to tell their local community they could assist with their technology needs in the early stages of the pandemic. Their phone hasn't stopped ringing since. The Covid Pandemic forced many small businesses to adapt to new technology solutions and create secure remote working environments for their employees. This was devastating to small rural communities like Huerfano County who did not have access to reliable technology support services. Soon Joe and Camilla realized that to provide the best service to their customers, they needed to get organized, soon AshcaTek was established. Originally starting in Walsenburg, CO, hidden in a small shed in Joe's backyard, they have since hit the road and AshcaTek currently services businesses from Denver to Trinidad Colorado.
If you're wondering, why AshcaTek? What kind of name is that? Well, let me try to explain. Joe and Camilla combined their last name's Asklof/Camacho to create Ashca and Joe thought AshcaTek sounded like if Humphrey Bogart from the old detective movies said to “Ask a Tech” in his iconic 1940s style voice.
